STORM Brings on McFadden, Riedel, Ulmer and Vahue to Complete Summer Staff

New Worlds Sports President, Sue Murphy, finalized STORM girls travel team summer coaching staff by adding Stevie McFadden, Christine Riedel, Kelly Ulmer and Morghan Vahue.

“These incredibly gifted coaches help round out our STORM summer teams staff.  All come with excellent backgrounds in the game and outstanding credentials including club, college & USA experience.  We are excited for the summer season and how our staff will guide, teach and develop our players.  This staff not only knows the game top to bottom but we all engage in educating our players and their families about the pursuit of college lacrosse.” states Murphy.

McFadden, Riedel, Ulmer and Vahue join the already existing staff of Sue Murphy, Barb DiArcangelo, Jessica Glazer, Heather Hiner, Caitlin Moore, Kirsten Nease, Sandy Nixon, Val Pate.

Stevie McFadden’s BIO:

– STORM WHITE, Head Coach
– 3 year Varsity player at Maryvale Prep in Baltimore, MD
– Played year round club/travel from 7th-12th grade
– Played for Skywalkers Club team
– Recruited to Villanova University, PA
– 4 year starter at Villanova, 2x Captain
– Coached at Check-Hers Elite Club team
 

Christine Riedel’s BIO:

– STORM BLACK, Asst. Coach
– Currently Asst Coach @ Trinity Episcopal School
– Currently studies @ VCU
– Plays College Club @ VCU
– Graduate of Trinity Episcopal School
– US Lacrosse Richmond Chapter All Star
 

Kelly Ulmer’s BIO:

– STORM BLUE, Asst Coach
– Currently coaching 2 club teams in Stafford
– Division 1 Coaching:  Asst. Field Hockey Coach @ Villanova University 2 years
– High School Coaching:  Head Lacrosse Coach @ Escondido, CA 2 years;
     Asst. Lacrosse Coach at Marple Newtown, PA 3 years
– Awards:  4 year starter at Loyola University in Lacrosse & Field Hockey;
2x All-American; 2x All Conference; 2x Captain;
Member of the US Developmental National Team;
High School All-American and Delaware County Player of the Year.
– Ulmer currently resides in Fredericksburg, VA with her husband
and 3 children, Jackson (10), Sydney (8) and Avery (4)
 

Morghan Vahue’s BIO:

– STORM BLACK, Head Coach
– Four-year starter at the University of Richmond, recruited and played for Sue Murphy
– Three-time Atlantic 10 Champion
– Three-time NCAA Tournament with Univ of Richmond
– Four sport athlete at Canandaigua Academy, NY
– Two-time Captain for the Canandaigua Braves
– Brave Heart Recipient
